I entered 6 images in "Love that Shot's" photo contest.  I was so excited and of course shocked to see TWO of my images were featured.   I can't wait to watch their webcast tonight to see how they applied their beautiful textures.  Here's a bit of their blog post and of course the link to their site.  You have to watch the video's of before and after.  They are stunning!

Announcing your Featured Photos…

Wow, what an exciting week! We’ve been hard at work putting the finishing touches on the photo texture and veil collections that we’re re-imagining and re-releasing tomorrow evening during our Free Creative Photo-Editing Webinar. In celebration of these newly re-imagined collections, we hosted a photo contest. Before we jump right in and start announcing the featured photos from this contest, we’ d like to take a second to thank all of you for participating. With over 200 photos submitted, Michelle and I sure had our jobs cut out for us!
We want to share with you a few of the things we were looking for in choosing the photos you see featured in the videos below. As you may know, not every photo is a good candidate for a texture, so we looked for specific features that would be enhanced by adding a texture or two (or three or four). We looked for things like negative space and blur, as well as mid-range colors, which would allow the textures to stand out. For the Photo Veils, we chose photos that would be enhanced in color tone or contrast. Photo Veils are perfect for clean edits, so the photos we chose could have more detail in them, especially in the backgrounds.
